BetterDayz will strive to find the most appropriate educational institution and course of study for the young people recruited to its programme.

These are some of the courses currently attended by our beneficiaries:

West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)
The WASSCE is a school leaving certificate. There are two types of WASSCE: public and private. Currently, we have students preparing for both. Students who pass the WASSCE examination can go on to university or higher education. At the moment four of our students are preparing for the WASSCE.

Computer Studies
To prepare them for university or professional life, many of our students attend a computer course. There are several levels, ranging from the MS Office suite to graphic design tools. The length of each course varies from 3 to 6 months.

Music academy
Freetown boasts a reputable music school which is currently attended by two of our students. One is learning the guitar, and the other the keyboard.

University courses
There are several universities and high schools in Freetown and we have visited some of them in anticipation of the WASSCE examination results.
Currently, one of our students is in his second university year studying for a degree in economics.
